About Brass North
Brass North (brassnorth.ca) is an independent, Canadian-built price-comparison site for ammunition, non-restricted rifles and optics. We check public product pages at Canadian retailers and show the price per round. Every product link goes to the retailer's own website, and you buy there. We are not a retailer, we are not affiliated with any store or manufacturer, and we never ask for your PAL, card number or password.
Privacy
What we collect. For price alerts: your email address, the calibre and your target price. For the weekly deals email: your email address. For store partners: the store name, website, contact name and business email you type into the partner form. We don't ask for phone numbers, accounts or passwords.
How we use it. Only to send the emails you asked for, or to reply to a partner enquiry. We never sell, rent or share your information with retailers or advertisers.
Consent (CASL). We email a confirmation link first and send no price alerts until you open it (double opt-in). Confirmation and unsubscribe links carry a random one-time code, never your email address. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your alert. Basic alerts are 2 active alerts per email, sent as a daily digest. Pro is unlimited and sends on every check.
Payments. Pro and Featured Store payments are handled by Stripe on checkout.stripe.com / buy.stripe.com. Brass North never sees or stores your card number.
Storage. Signups are stored with our hosting provider (Netlify) and emails are sent through Zoho ZeptoMail, both over HTTPS/TLS. Search counts on the site are anonymous.
Contact
Reply to any email from Brass North and it reaches us directly. Stores can use the partner form. To have your data deleted, use the unsubscribe link in any alert email or reply to it and ask.
